Ten Can Run 5K
November 24, 2011

Robert and Nancy Videon, owners of Lowcountry Basement Systems, participated in the Ten Can Run 5k event at Savannah Christian Church on Thanksgiving morning. Along with the race entry fee, each runner donated a minimum of 10 cans of food that will go to support the Lighthouse Food Pantry Ministry. Over 350 people participated in the Ten Can event!

There is a great need here in Savannah and many families are struggling. The day prior to the race, ninety-five families requested food assistance from the Lighthouse Ministry. The items collected during the race will help replenish the food pantry and provide food to those in need.


Rock n Roll Marathon, Savannah
November 5, 2011

Robert Videon, owner of Lowcountry Basement, and Jason Simmons, Production Assistant participated in Savannah's first Rock n Roll marathon. This was a grueling 26.2 miles through the streets of beautiful Savannah, but the team pushed forward and completed the race!

Nancy Videon, co-owner of Lowcountry Basement, volunteered as co-captain of the final water station on the course. She helped organize and motivate a team of about 45 volunteers to set up and maintain the water station, which consisted of about 64,000 cups. It was non-stop work for 9 hours, but was loads of fun to encourage each runner as they neared the finish line.


Race for Romania
October 22, 2011

Robert and Nancy Videon participated in the 5K/10K Race for Romania to support and raise funds for orphaned children in Romania.

Savannah Century-Wounded Warrior Ride
October 8, 2011

Robert and Nancy Videon, owners of Lowcountry Basement Systems, participated in the Savannah Century 30 mile ride to raise support for the Wounded Warrior Project. This event took place through the beautiful city of Savannah, GA

Half-Ironman, Augusta, GA
September 25, 2011

Robert Videon, owner of Lowcountry Basement Systems, along with members of the FCA Endurance Team, participated in the Augusta Half-Ironman event. This consisted of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run.

Haiti Christian Mission
May 2011

Robert Videon, along with a group from the FCA Endurance Savannah team, spent a week in Haiti at the Haiti Christian Mission. They brought much needed shoes, helped build a tent for worship services, and even held their first 5K event.

Rock of the Marne Triathlon
September 19, 2010

Robert Videon, owner of Lowcountry Basement Systems, participated in the Rock of the Marne Triathlon at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, GA, to support the men and women who serve our country. Robert participated as a member of FCA Endurance Savannah.


Appalachian Outreach
June 14-18, 2010

Robert joined the First Baptist Hampton Mission Team to serve on a project to help make needed repairs to a low-income family.


Global Food Crisis Fund
December 2009

A dramatic rise in the cost of food in recent months has created a life-threatening crisis for millions of the world's poorest families. Most Compassion-assisted children and their families have been affected and some have been absolutely devastated.

Lowcountry Basement Systems gave a donation to feed seven children for a year through Compassion International.
